Among the most notable is Johannes Golla, captain of the German men's national team playing for MT Melsungen, and his sister Paulina Golla, a left back for VfL Oldenburg. The Ludwig siblings, Lasse and Zoe, both have experience as goalkeepers; Lasse plays for Füchse Berlin in the Bundesliga, while Zoe previously played for the club's 2. Bundesliga team.

Other notable families include the Ossenkopp siblings, with Lukas serving in the presidency of Handball Club Hamburg and Meret playing for Sport-Union Neckarsulm. The Michalczik family is also represented by Marian Michalczik of TSV Hannover-Burgdorf and his sister Marie Vorlicek-Michalczik, who plays for Bergischer HC.
