German historic sites host upcoming family cultural events

Various cultural and family-oriented events are scheduled at historic German sites in late September and early October.

On September 27, Waldburg will host a family day featuring medieval-themed activities. The program includes knight tournaments with axe throwing and sword fighting, dragon-themed entertainment, and guided tours. The site also offers a new medieval playground and digital historical experiences.

On October 3, Schloss Fantaisie in Eckersdorf will hold a family day organized by the Bavarian Palace Administration. The event includes garden art museum explorations, craft activities, and a special focus on potatoes, featuring potato harvesting in the kitchen garden and various themed games. Activities also include fairy tale tours and a digital rally to explore the castle and park.
