German hydrogen sector updates: H2APEX stock move and H2 Mobility price cuts
H2APEX Group SCA is preparing to transition its stock listing from the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange to the Scale segment. The company cited high regulatory requirements and associated costs as the primary reasons for the move. The transition is subject to formal approval from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
In a separate operational development, H2APEX has expanded its partnership with producer Lhyfe. Under the agreement, Lhyfe will supply up to 100 tons of RFNBO-certified renewable hydrogen annually for the next two years to support industrial and mobility sectors in Germany.
Meanwhile, the Berlin-based consortium H2 Mobility announced it will reduce hydrogen prices by 12 to 16 percent at 15 locations across Germany starting October 1, 2026. The price reduction, which affects stations ranging from Bayreuth to Wesseling, is facilitated by the greenhouse gas (GHG) quota trading system. By leveraging revenues from avoided emissions, the consortium aims to provide a positive price signal to transport and logistics companies.
