German ice hockey clubs utilize volunteers for youth and media support
Various German ice hockey clubs are highlighting the importance of volunteerism and social engagement within their youth development programs.
Leo Eisenbarth, a U17 player for Augsburger EV, is currently completing a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) within the club’s youth department. His responsibilities include assisting with equipment, supporting training sessions, and providing organizational help in the office, such as video editing for the goalie coach. Additionally, he supports midday supervision at the Hans-Adelhoch-Schule.
Meanwhile, the Eisbären Juniors Berlin are seeking volunteer support for their women’s team in the Frauen-Bundesliga (DFEL). The club is looking for individuals to manage social media channels, create graphics, and provide match reports to increase the team’s online visibility and fan engagement.
