German ice hockey clubs prepare for new season kickoffs

German ice hockey leagues are entering new seasons across various divisions. In the DEL2, Blue Devils Weiden has strengthened its roster with the return of 25-year-old forward Lukas Ribarik from EC Bad Nauheim. Ribarik previously played for Weiden during the 2022/23 season. Meanwhile, the Starbulls Rosenheim are preparing for their season opener against the Ravensburg Towerstars, noting organizational changes such as the removal of evening ticket sales and new beverage partnerships.

In the Oberliga Süd, the HEC Falken face a challenging start with away matches against Deggendorfer SC and a home game against ESV Kaufbeuren. The ESV Kaufbeuren (Joker) are also set to begin their campaign with a match against the Tölzer Löwen, followed by a trip to Heilbronn. Additionally, HSG Bieberau/Modau is preparing for its first home game against TV Petterweil.
