European ice hockey clubs begin preseason tournaments

European ice hockey clubs are entering intensive preseason phases with several high-profile tournaments and test matches scheduled across Germany.

In West Saxony, the CCM-Cup 2026 will feature top-tier teams including HC Škoda Plzeň, Mountfield HK, and the Fischtown Pinguins, alongside the Eispiraten Crimmitschau. In Dresden, the Sachsenlotto Cup will host the Dresdner Eislöwen, Grizzlys Wolfsburg, Iserlohn Roosters, and Bílí Tygři Liberec.

Other regional matchups include the Selber Wölfe facing the Saale Bulls Halle, the Kassel Huskies hosting the Hammer Eisbären, and the Herforder Eishockey Verein securing a 4:3 preseason victory against Duisburg.
