German ice hockey teams conclude preseason preparations

German ice hockey teams EHC Königsbrunn and EA Schongau Mammuts have concluded their preseason preparations ahead of the upcoming league stages.

EHC Königsbrunn secured a 5-3 victory in their final test match against ESC Kempten. Goals from Kilian Steinmann, Peter Brückner, Stefan Rodrigues, Niklas Länger, and Kevin Hu led the team to victory. Despite the win, coach Maxi Helling noted areas for improvement regarding powerplay efficiency and concentration.

Meanwhile, the EA Schongau Mammuts finished their preparation with mixed results. Following a 7-1 derby win against ERC Lechbruck, the team suffered a 1-7 loss to the Peißenberg Miners. Head coach Domingo Grafunder expressed a positive outlook, stating that the primary goal was team development and establishing a system rather than focusing solely on match outcomes.
