German landscape construction industry reaches 11.11 billion euros in revenue

The German landscape construction industry (GaLaBau) has achieved its 16th consecutive year of revenue growth, reaching a total turnover of 11.11 billion euros last year. The private garden segment remains the strongest sector, accounting for approximately 57 percent of revenue at 6.32 billion euros.

The public green space market is also expanding steadily, growing by 8.9 percent to 2.15 billion euros. Currently, the industry in Germany comprises nearly 20,000 specialist companies employing 131,746 people. In 2025, the sector included 8,089 apprentices.
