German landscaping industry sees new product launches and market reports

The German landscape and garden construction industry is seeing both new product innovations and comprehensive market analysis. Gutjahr, a system provider based in Bickenbach, has announced ‘TerraGreen’, a new system designed to integrate greenery into terraces. Set for release in 2027, the product aims to allow installers to combine planting areas, herb gardens, and green islands with existing terrace components like lighting and heating through a single provider.

Simultaneously, the Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau (BGL) has released its 2026 industry report. The report provides a detailed overview of the German landscaping market, which generated 11.11 billion euros in 2025 and employed 131,746 people. The publication serves as a central data resource for businesses, politics, and media to track economic trends, costs, and productivity within the sector.
