German Lutheran Churches Announce Pastoral Reassignments

The Auferstehung parish in Germany will see a change in leadership on 1 September 2026. Pastor Mona Böhm will continue her ministry at 50 % capacity, sharing the position with her husband, Pastor Markus Böhm, who will also work 50 % and retain a teaching role at the Maria‑Ward‑Gymnasium.

In a separate move, Pastor Clemens Becht will leave his part‑time duties in Minden and take over a full‑time district‑level pastoral post in Hamm, responsible for religious education in schools, effective 1 August 2026. Becht previously held a quarter‑time position in Minden and has extensive experience teaching at local schools.
