German man suspected of killing wife and burning vehicle

A 46-year-old German man is facing an arrest warrant following the death of his 45-year-old wife in the Bavarian Forest near Bayerisch Eisenstein. The investigation began after a couple from the Deggendorf district was reported missing.

Search efforts near Mount Arber led authorities to a burning minibus in a parking area. Inside the vehicle, firefighters and police discovered the charred body of the woman. Investigators determined she had died from a projectile weapon before the vehicle was set on fire.

The suspect was discovered heavily injured in a nearby forested area, though the circumstances of his injuries remain unclear. The victim and the suspect were reportedly living separately at the time of the incident, which occurred in late September.
