German television personalities Panagiota Petridou and Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum have shared personal experiences regarding cosmetic procedures and body image via social media.

Panagiota Petridou, a presenter known for her natural appearance, revealed on Instagram that she underwent rhinoplasty in 2004. She stated the decision was not due to suffering from her appearance, but rather a feeling that a different nose would better suit her face.

Actress Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum, recognized for her role in ‘Lindenstraße’, discussed her journey with weight loss and a past visit to a cosmetic surgeon in southern Germany. After losing approximately 21 kilograms, she recounted an emotional encounter with a doctor where she sought operative solutions for perceived imperfections, only to receive a response that challenged her need for perfection.
