German metal band TYR launches Valhalla Calling European tour
German Viking‑metal group TYR announced its "Valhalla Calling" European tour, marking the band’s first extensive headlining run in seven years. The itinerary features 25 concerts across 15 countries from late November 2026 through December, with dates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.
The tour is supported by Swedish power‑metal act Twilight Force, fellow Swedish band Dragonland, and Dutch folk‑metal group Vanaheim, which will promote its new album "Roede voor de Borst". TYR will also debut material from its forthcoming self‑titled tenth studio album, alongside classic tracks from its catalogue.
Tickets went on sale on 19 June and are expected to sell quickly, reflecting strong demand among European heavy‑metal fans.
