German motorhomes and camper vans enter Spanish market

The caravanning market is seeing new options for consumers seeking German quality at competitive prices. The Sunlight UNLTD series has launched in Spain, utilizing the Ford Transit chassis with a 2.0-liter, 165 CV diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This new range offers various interior configurations and features standard equipment such as automatic climate control, a 12.9-inch multimedia screen, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. While the standard chassis is rated for 3,500 kg, a heavy chassis option is available to increase load capacity to 4,100 kg.

In the second-hand market, a Volkswagen T6.1 Atlantic Off Road is available in Alicante, Spain. Originally priced at 69,900 euros, the 2020 model with 170,000 km is now listed for 39,900 euros. This diesel camper features a pop-up roof that allows for three sleeping spots and five passenger seats. It includes a kitchen with a sink and fridge, a 200 W solar panel, and an outdoor shower.
