German municipal councils schedule August meetings

Local municipal councils in Germany have announced upcoming meeting agendas for August 2026.

The Barnekow municipal council is scheduled to meet on August 25. Key agenda items include discussions on the use of federal special funds for transport infrastructure, public transport, and energy. The council will also address procurement for fire department protective clothing, legal consultations regarding municipal politicians, and the approval of annual financial statements for 2024 and 2025.

The Amerang municipal council will convene on August 19. The session will cover building permit applications, including an agri-PV system near Unterratting and a stable extension featuring an automatic milking system.
