German museums announce upcoming fashion and book art exhibitions

Two distinct art exhibitions are scheduled in Germany. In St. Wendel, the Museum St. Wendel will host ‘Kunst & Kommerz - Mode im Zeitgeist von 1925-1935’ from May 10 to September 27, 2026. The exhibition features the fashion drawings of artist Mia Münster, placed in a cultural context alongside historical shop window figures and various fashion accessories from Germany and France.

In Münster, the Krameramtshaus will host ‘Bilder Buch Kunst – 20 Jahre Ateliers Hafenstraße’ from August 27 to October 11, 2026. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hafenstraße studios, the exhibition showcases works from 15 artists, including illustrators, authors, and graphic artists. The event includes silkscreens, comics, and children's book illustrations, with special programming such as live drawing and workshops held during the North Rhine-Westphalia Day.
