Schiller medal garden house engraving digital museum collection German heritage MAKK

The Freies Deutsches Hochstift and Frankfurt Goethe Museum have released a high‑resolution digital record of a bronze medal issued on Friedrich Schiller’s 100th death anniversary (1805‑1905). The medal bears Schiller’s portrait, a quote from "Wilhelm Tell", and decorative motifs, measuring 45 mm in diameter.

The Museum für Angewandte Kunst Köln (MAKK) has similarly published a digitised copper engraving showing the elevation and floor plan of a late‑Baroque garden house from a series of Berlin building views. The plate, signed by several artists and printers, measures 47.8 cm by 36.3 cm and includes detailed annotations.

Both items are now openly accessible under Creative Commons or public‑domain terms, enhancing online access to German cultural heritage.
