German museums host autumn holiday programs for children

Various museums in Germany are offering specialized programs for children during the autumn holidays.

In Salzgitter, the Schloss Salder municipal museum is hosting creative workshops for children aged six and older on October 20 and 22. The sessions, which run from 12:00 to 15:00, focus on themes such as wind—where participants can create wind chimes and pinwheels—and imaginative monster figures. The program is free, though registration is required.

In Lindenberg, the Wettermuseum Lindenberg, Germany’s largest weather museum, is hosting activities from October 12 to 29. The program includes physics shows exploring clouds and rain, crafting solar boats or hedgehogs, and observing the launch of a weather balloon. These activities are included in the museum admission, with a small additional fee for crafting materials.
