German museums host seasonal Halloween and cultural events
Various museums in Germany are hosting special events centered around Halloween and seasonal themes.
The Stadtmuseum Meppen is offering flashlight tours for children aged eight and up, featuring spooky stories. Additional programming includes a public tour of the permanent exhibition and a lecture by author Erika Rosenberg-Band regarding Emilie Schindler.
In Koblenz, the Ludwig Museum is hosting the ‘Ludwig Horror Picture Show,’ which combines an art tour under candlelight with a screening of the 1922 horror classic ‘Nosferatu.’ Visitors in costume may receive complimentary drinks.
Other regional activities include a flashlight tour through the ‘Hexenwald’ (Witch Forest) at the LWL-Museum für Erdgeschichte in Bünde, designed for families with children. Additionally, the RPM Museum in Hildesheim is organizing a family evening titled ‘Grusel Wusel,’ focusing on mysterious objects and stories related to the afterlife.
