German museums showcase historical consumer goods and vintage toys

German museums have documented various historical artifacts, including consumer goods and vintage toys.

The Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof features a transparent plastic container of colorful party picks from the company Wenco. The container holds 80 picks in various colors and includes labels with flags from Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Poland, and Spain. Wenco, founded in Hennef in 1964, is a system service provider for supermarkets.

Meanwhile, the Heimathaus Borghorst displays a collection of mid-20th-century tin toys. The collection includes a passenger ship, a steam locomotive, a red racing car, a tin traffic garden with a Shell station, a red convertible, a dune buggy, a US military jeep, and a truck with a crane, all set upon an oval track system.
