German museums document diverse historical artifacts

Various German museums have documented diverse historical artifacts through digital archives, ranging from 18th-century portraiture to mid-20th-century industrial and political items.

Notable entries include a portrait of Prince Wilhelm Georg Friedrich von Oranien (1774–1799), a Dutch prince who served in the Austrian military. Other collections feature a traditional hand drill (Brustleier), a jacquard-woven cotton towel manufactured by VEB Frottana Großschönau for the US market, and a wooden cartwheel.

Historical documentation also includes a lithographed tin coffee canister from the 1930s or early 1940s featuring the passenger ship Cap Arcona, and educational worksheets used during the National Socialist era, which include handwritten notes regarding the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler.
