German music scene: New releases and band profiles

The German music scene features new developments from regional bands. The Nuremberg-based band Endlich schlechte Musik is set to release their fourth long-playing album, titled ‘Das war’s’, on September 11, 2026. In Aachen, the post-hardcore trio Fjørt continues to gain momentum following the success of their albums ‘Nichts’ and ‘Belle époque’. The band, consisting of members Chris Hell and David Frings, blends aggressive guitar riffs and vocals with existentialist and political themes in their German-language songwriting.
