German music scene updates: laut.de charts and Das Lumpenpack concert

The German music scene features notable activity in both charts and live performances. The laut.de charts for October 3 highlight several new entries and established acts, including Fontaines D. C., who released the single ‘Tongue’ ahead of their fifth album. Other notable artists in the weekly rankings include DIIV, Phoebe Bridgers, and Dendemann.

In Munich, the band Das Lumpenpack performed their largest solo concert to date at the Zenith. The event, which took place on the Day of German Unity, featured an opening set by Kochkraft durch KMA. The concert was attended by Peter Brugger of Sportfreunde Stiller and served as a platform for the band to perform tracks from their work ‘Bevor der Mut dich verlässt’.
