German nightlife faces wave of club closures

Similarly, Munich is experiencing a wave of club closures, with venues such as MMA, Crux, Harry Klein, Beverly Kills, and Blitz recently departing the scene. Other notable locations like DNA and Live. Evil are also expected to close. Observers attribute this trend to urban development, where club sites are frequently repurposed for hotels, luxury apartments, or offices, leading to debates regarding the impact of gentrification on city culture.
