German nursing and farming graduates celebrated in Dinkelsbühl and Bissingen
In Dinkelsbühl, 76 graduates of the ANregiomed Academy's nursing programmes were honored on 5 August 2026. The ceremony was attended by school director Barbara Berner‑Ehrmann, ANregiomed board member Dr Gerhard M. Sontheimer, district administrator Marco Meier, mayor Dr Christoph Hammer and county nursing officer Gerhard Siegler. Sixteen graduates achieved a grade point average of 1.5 or better and received state awards from the Mittelfranken government.
In Bissingen, 40 young farmers from Nordschwaben completed their vocational training, with 44 participants examined across 13 sites. The average grade was 2.9, and four candidates earned grades below 2.0. Officials including district administrator Markus Müller, AELF chief Reinhard Bader and school principal Manfred Bäuml praised the graduates for their role in food production, biodiversity and the energy transition.
