German parish groups complete religious pilgrimages in Europe

Various German parish groups recently completed religious group trips across Europe.

A group of approximately 31 altar servers from the Prutting-Vogtareuth parish traveled to Italy. Their itinerary included visits to the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua, the Abbey of Pomposa, and the mosaics in Ravenna. The group also visited Lake Garda and the Santa Maria della Corona rock church.

Separately, pilgrims from the Westliches Chiemseeufer parish, Tyrol, and Lower Bavaria undertook a 13-day pilgrimage. The journey spanned several countries, including visits to Ars, Montserrat, Avila, Fatima, Lisbon, Santiago de Compostela, Lourdes, and Nevers. Key religious sites visited included the Grotto in Lourdes and the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
