German Pavilion Showcases Technical Textile Solutions at Techtextil North America

From August 4‑6, 2026, the German Pavilion at Techtextil North America in Raleigh, North Carolina, featured German machinery, chemical and testing firms presenting practical solutions for technical textile manufacturers. Stefan Schmidt, head of Technical Textiles and International Trade Fairs at IVGT e.V., said the exhibition serves as a platform that brings together complementary technologies, expertise and partnerships to shape the future of many industries.

Exhibitors demonstrated concrete applications: Georg Sahm displayed highly automated winding systems for consistent package quality and productivity; Hergeth offered precision equipment for fibre opening, blending and feeding; Siebfabrik Arthur Maurer provided woven and spiral belts, forming fabrics and filtration solutions; Pulcra Chemicals presented speciality chemicals and finishing technologies; and Weber & Leucht’s Atlanta laboratory services helped manufacturers verify compliance with international quality and safety standards. The event highlighted the dynamic US market, driven by mobility, construction, medical technology, defence, filtration and industrial manufacturing, and underscored the importance of German‑American partnerships in the technical textile value chain.
