German police and agribusiness host fundraisers for children's hospice and cancer aid

The police inspection in Hachenburg, Germany, organized a bottle‑cap collection and an internal donation drive that raised €555.55 for the Deutsche Kinderhospiz Dienste in the Westerwald. The funds will support training courses for volunteers who assist families with life‑shortening illnesses.

Agrarservice Rubenbauer held its triennial farm festival in Griesbach, attracting around 800 guests. Through ticket sales and a raffle for a front‑mowing machine, the event generated €21,000, which was handed to the Kuno‑Stiftung, a children's cancer foundation. Finance and Home State Secretary Martin Schöffel praised the family business, stating, "Ihr sei echte Heimatmacher."
