German police appeal for witnesses after series of thefts and a break‑in

Police in the Schweinfurt region reported a string of thefts and assaults between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. Items taken included a Segway Ninebot e‑scooter worth about €300, two Ghost mountain‑bike wheels, mobile phones and wallets from three beach‑goers (estimated loss €2,000), and a mobile phone was snatched from a 68‑year‑old cyclist after a verbal dispute. A 20‑year‑old suspect is described as about 180 cm tall, slim and dark‑clothed; a second suspect, about 175 cm tall, 40 years old, was seen with a woman.

In Sulz am Neckar, police are also seeking information about a break‑in at a company building on Gottlieb‑Daimler‑Straße. Unknown perpetrators forced entry into an office between Friday 17:00 and Saturday 11:00, searched several rooms and left without being identified. The extent of any loss or damage has not yet been determined.
