German police departments expand personnel in Ludwigsburg and Bavaria

German police departments in Ludwigsburg and Bavaria are receiving significant personnel increases. In Ludwigsburg, the police headquarters is welcoming 24 new officers. This group includes 16 newly trained officers starting their first assignments and eight experienced officers transferring from other departments. These personnel will be deployed to police stations in the Ludwigsburg and Böblingen districts, as well as the traffic police and deportation units.

In Bavaria, the state police will gain 612 new officers starting September 1. According to the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, this influx will result in a net increase of more than 300 active officers, helping to offset retirements. The new staff will be distributed across various departments, with a significant number joining the Munich Police Headquarters. Notably, 22 new officers will be assigned to the Drone Competence and Defense Center (DKAZ) in Erding to strengthen capabilities against drone-related threats, while 45 others will join the Bavarian Border Police.
