German police hunt suspects after burglaries in Würzburg and Ludwigshafen

Police in Würzburg are searching for an unidentified male suspect who forced entry into a vacant house on Schellingstraße on Thursday afternoon. The 45‑year‑old man, described as of normal build, wearing all‑black clothing and a pink bag, entered through a cellar door at about 16:45, left around 17:35 and caused approximately €500 in property damage. A search with several patrol units has so far been unsuccessful.

In Ludwigshafen, investigators are seeking witnesses after a thief broke into an unlocked vehicle on Industriestraße and stole a handbag containing around €1,200 in cash and personal identification documents. Police urge anyone who saw the incident to come forward, emphasizing the broader security risk posed by unsecured cars.

Both cases highlight ongoing concerns about opportunistic thefts and the importance of community assistance in locating suspects.
