German police investigate copper cable theft in Höchberg and bicycle theft in Gotha

Police in Würzburg district opened an investigation after copper cables were stolen from a construction site on Rudolf‑Harbig‑Platz in Höchberg between 2 July 14:00 and 16 July 13:15. The loss, estimated at around €3,500, is being probed and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the local precinct.

In Thuringia, police in the Eisenach area reported that three bicycles were taken from a house on Barfüßerstraße in Gotha between Thursday 23:00 and Friday 14:30. The stolen bikes included two Cube models and a Cannondale, with a combined value of roughly €10,000. Witnesses are encouraged to call the Eisenach police line.
