German police investigate property damage and theft incidents in Schweinfurt and Heidelberg

Police in Schweinfurt reported multiple incidents of vandalism and hit‑and‑run damage between Saturday evening and Monday morning. Unknown perpetrators damaged several construction power distributors, struck a Fiat Doblo parked near a medical supply store, shattered the windshield of a red compact car on Hohmann Street, and hit a Mercedes in the parking lot of an Edeka market, all without leaving a trace. The Schweinfurt police have asked the public for witnesses.

In Heidelberg, police announced that 45 metres of copper cable were stolen from a construction site of a parking garage on Grüne Meile/Odessastraße during the night from Monday to Tuesday. The loss is estimated at over €3,500, and investigators suspect the material was removed by vehicle. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the theft.
