Police report various crimes and thefts across Germany and Austria
Various criminal incidents and police reports have been recorded across Germany and Austria. In Vienna, a series of burglaries has targeted businesses in the Floridsdorf district, including flower shops and a grocery store, with some damages exceeding 10,000 euros.
In Germany, several notable incidents occurred: a 39-year-old man was arrested in Dortmund after attempting to break into a home; three minors were detained in Wiesbaden following an attempted scooter theft; and an ATM was exploded at a gas station in Leverkusen. Other reported crimes include an e-bike theft in Melkers, a burglary of a company van in Potsdam, and a violent assault on a 21-year-old in Wiesbaden.
Traffic-related incidents were also noted, including a hit-and-run in Aalen and a legal ruling in Potsdam regarding liability during a left-turn accident. Additionally, police in Kassel are hosting bicycle coding events to prevent theft.
