German police seek witnesses after cyclist hit‑and‑run incidents in Reutlingen and Stuttgart

On 1 July 2026, a 55‑year‑old female cyclist was injured in Reutlingen after an unidentified rider collided with her on the shared bike path and fled the scene. Police described the suspect as a man aged 25‑35, with a beard, dark curly hair, wearing a white short‑sleeved trousers and a light‑blue T‑shirt, riding a grey e‑bike. They are asking the public for information to locate him.

Later the same day in Stuttgart’s Münster district, a 13‑year‑old cyclist was knocked off a railing after an aggressive cyclist, estimated around 40 years old, struck him and rode away. The younger rider sustained minor injuries. The fleeing cyclist was seen in a turquoise T‑shirt and grey shorts, without a helmet. Authorities have issued a call for witnesses in both cases, providing contact numbers for tips.
