German police seek witnesses after multiple hit‑and‑run traffic incidents

Police in Bad Kissingen district are investigating a hit‑and‑run that injured an 11‑year‑old cyclist in Oerlenbach on 25 June. The child was struck by a dark‑coloured car while turning onto St‑Bruno‑Straße and suffered light injuries. The driver fled the scene and police are asking the public for information about the vehicle and its driver.

In the neighboring Ostalbkreis, police reported a series of traffic incidents and a robbery between 26 June and 30 June. These include hit‑and‑run damage to a parked Renault Austral in Schwäbisch Gmünd, a Porsche Panamera in Waldstetten, a severe collision involving a Hyundai on the B29 near Aalen, a cyclist struck by a Mercedes in Aalen, and a multi‑vehicle crash on the A6 near Kirchberg that caused extensive vehicle damage. Additionally, a 51‑year‑old man was robbed at knife point near Aalen. Authorities have opened investigations and are urging anyone with relevant observations to contact the respective police stations.
