German police seize 13 kg of drugs in Bremen‑Oldenburg‑Vechta ‘drug‑taxi’ bust

Customs officers and police from Bremen and Lower Saxony carried out coordinated raids in Bremen, the Oldenburg area and Vechta, searching 17 apartments and detaining two of the eleven suspects. The operation uncovered a specially modified vehicle used as a “drug‑taxi”, fitted with a hidden compartment about 1.2 m × 0.3 m, which contained more than 13 kg of narcotics—cocaine, cannabis and prescription drugs—along with two firearms, knives and €40 000 in cash. Investigators also seized a makeshift packaging line where the seized substances had been prepared for street sale. The raids secured roughly two kilograms of marijuana and several grams of cocaine in Bremen alone, and led to the arrest of two suspects pending further investigation.
