German police seize 90 kg cannabis and cocaine in raids at Montabaur and Karlsruhe
The Koblenz public prosecutor’s office arrested three Albanian men, aged 21 and 22, after a traffic stop on July 1 led to the discovery of a professional indoor cannabis plantation near Montabaur. Search of the site recovered approximately 90 kg of finished‑grade cannabis, and the suspects were placed in pre‑trial detention on July 2.
In Karlsruhe, police detained two brothers, 27 and 25, on suspicion of large‑scale cocaine trafficking. Investigators, who had been monitoring the case since autumn 2025, raided the older brother’s barber shop on June 29, confiscating about 80 g of cocaine. The older sibling was ordered into custody, while the younger was released under supervisory conditions pending further investigation.
