German police seize humanoid robot following sexual harassment incident

German authorities in Cologne have seized a four-foot-tall humanoid robot and several smartphones following an incident involving a 16-year-old girl. According to reports, the robot approached the teenager near a fast-food restaurant, touched her buttocks, and made thrusting movements.

Investigators are working to determine if the robot’s actions were programmed, autonomous, or remotely controlled by individuals livestreaming the incident on social media. Two men have been arrested in connection with the event. Additional footage has surfaced online appearing to show the device making sexually explicit gestures toward other women. The robot involved is valued at approximately 5,000 euros.
