German police speed checks in Bad Dürkheim and Lendringsen uncover violations

On 30 June 2026 the Bad Dürkheim police inspection carried out speed checks in the town centre of Friedelsheim and on Triftweg in Bad Dürkheim. In the 30 km/h zones the officers recorded three exceedances in Friedelsheim (highest 44 km/h) and eleven exceedances in Bad Dürkheim (highest 54 km/h). Nine drivers received warnings and two were fined.

The following day, 1 July 2026, police in the Märkischer Kreis (North Rhine‑Westphalia) conducted three separate speed‑monitoring operations in Menden, Lendringsen and nearby streets. Between 7:10 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. they documented numerous breaches, including a driver clocking 98 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in Lendringsen. Overall, 16 warning notices and five formal infringement notices were issued, with fines and possible driving bans imposed.
