In the Halle (Saale) area, police dealt with a series of incidents over the week. A man threw glass bottles from his apartment, injuring a passerby, and a second bottle was thrown at a 31‑year‑old man who escaped serious harm. A combine harvester caught fire on the L144 near Plötz, requiring nine volunteer fire brigades, while an intoxicated pedestrian was found wandering the B181 in Merseburg. A 59‑year‑old resident of Zeitz died from carbon‑monoxide poisoning after emergency crews discovered dangerously high levels in his apartment, prompting evacuation and medical checks for other occupants. Later, a frontal collision between a car and a pickup occurred on Albrechtstraße in Zeitz.

In the Verden district of Lower Saxony, police reported multiple emergencies. A combine harvester ignited on a wheat field in Kirchlinteln, creating a two‑hectare blaze that was extinguished by firefighters. In Langwedel, a round‑bale press caught fire, spreading to a nearby grain field covering about 30,000 m². Traffic incidents included a speeding VW Golf that overtook a police patrol and a BMW that crashed into a house wall in Achim, injuring the driver and a passenger.
