German publishing sees fresh releases and bestseller surge

A German publisher’s weekly delivery list highlights new and reissued titles set to reach bookstores, including Thomas Weiß’s biography of Johann Peter Hebel, a biography of swimmer Trudy Ederle and Jasmin von Wartburg’s plant‑based cookbook “Fruchtmuntere Küche.”

At the same time, the SPIEGEL bestseller chart reports the 16 titles currently most purchased in Germany, with Sable Sorensen’s fantasy sequel “Fury Bound” debuting at number one, Heinz Strunk’s “Memories of Heidelberg,” Brittainy Cherry’s “Wie das Schweigen vor der Flut,” and Freida McFadden’s thriller “Die Psychiaterin” among other notable entries.
