German Radio Award 2026 to feature prominent laudators in Hamburg

The German Radio Award (Deutscher Radiopreis) will be held on September 10, 2026, at the Musical Theater am der Elbe in Hamburg. The ceremony honors excellence in radio broadcasting across various categories.

Prominent public figures will serve as laudators for the event. Notable participants include Guido Maria Kretschmer for Best Reportage, Lutz van der Horst for Best Entertainment, and Peter Maffay for Best Music Format. Maffay is scheduled to perform two songs from his upcoming album, ‘Nashville’, during the ceremony.

Other laudators include Pinar Atalay for Best Interview and Susanne Daubner for Best Information Format.
