German reality series “Born Famous” tracks celebrity children

The new six‑episode documentary‑reality series “Born Famous – Fluch oder Segen?” premiered on ProSieben and the streaming platform Joyn, airing on Thursdays at 20:15. Produced by Constantin Entertainment, the programme follows four children of well‑known German public figures as they navigate personal ambitions and the pressure of their famous families.

The participants are Gloria‑Sophie Burkandt, daughter of Bavarian Minister‑President Markus Söder; San Diego Pooth, son of TV host Verona Pooth; Summer Terenzi, daughter of singer Sarah Connor and musician Marc Terenzi; and Josefine Scholl, daughter of former footballer Mehmet Scholl. In interviews they discuss the “extreme” expectations placed on them and their efforts to define their own identities beyond their parents’ fame.
