German reality‑TV star Jens Büchner’s family denounces disrespectful video and announces legal action

Daniela Büchner, the widow of late reality‑TV figure Jens Büchner, posted an Instagram Story after a video circulated in which a group of strangers mocked her husband’s memory. The clip showed a young man holding a poorly done chest tattoo and comparing it to a photo of Jens Büchner, accompanied by laughter and a derogatory comment. Daniela expressed her anguish, calling the act “respectless, disgusting” and pleading for respect for the deceased.

Jada Karabas, a 21‑year‑old who also knew the family, issued a statement on Instagram condemning the prank and announced that she would pursue legal action against the perpetrators, noting that “our lawyer sends kind regards” and urging the offenders to consider the consequences of such disrespect.

Both Daniela and Jada highlighted the pain inflicted on the family, including Jens’s twin ten‑year‑old children, and called for accountability for the tasteless behavior.
