German Regional Art Collections Tour Galleries in Cham and Rastatt

On 31 January 2026 the exhibition “Kunst auf Reisen – Kebbelvilla trifft Cordonhaus” opened at the Städtische Galerie Cordonhaus in Cham. The show presents selected works from the Oberpfalz district collection, including recent acquisitions by Albert Braun, Katharina Gierlach, Louise Lang, Barbara Muhr, Alois Öllinger and Jasmin Schmidt, and highlights themes such as the historic liaison between Lola Montez and Elias Peissner.

From 23 July 2026 to 31 January 2027 the Städtische Galerie Fruchthalle in Rastatt hosts “Resonanzen”, an exhibition that invites visitors to explore personal connections with works from the municipal art collection. Accompanying texts range from serious commentary to poetic and humorous notes, aiming to foster dialogue between the artworks and the city community.
