German regional athletics meets deliver personal bests and multiple club titles

At the senior and youth (U20, U18, U16) regional athletics championships held on Stuttgart's Festwiese, athletes from VfL Sindelfingen and SV Nufringen dominated. Sabrina Heil recorded a personal best of 53.12 seconds in the 400‑metre hurdles, while Anni Marcard set a new personal record of 5.92 m in the long jump and ran 12.49 s for 100 m. The VfL Sindelfingen men’s 4 × 100 m relay posted the fastest time of the day at 41.57 seconds, and several club athletes secured individual titles across sprint, middle‑distance and field events.

In the Badische U18 and senior championships at Schutterwald’s Waldstadion, athletes from LG Radolfzell, TV Engen, TV Rielasingen and other clubs also collected a haul of medals under hot conditions. Jakob Dayal won the 800 m in 2:03.53 and took third in the 400 m (51.44 s), while Lasse Maier claimed the 400 m hurdles title in 58.96 s. Elina Haghighat Panah secured gold in the 100 m hurdles (14.88 s) and silver in high jump, and Valentin Lang added a gold‑medal javelin throw of 49.98 m. The meets produced numerous personal bests and highlighted strong performances from local German clubs.
