German resident transforms home into Harry Potter-themed sanctuary

A resident of Weeze-Wemb, Germany, has transformed the upper floor of her home into a detailed tribute to the Harry Potter universe. Ilona Balon spent approximately two years decorating and collecting items to recreate elements of Hogwarts, including references to Diagon Alley, Platform 9¾, Gryffindor, and Slytherin.

Balon noted that her interest in the franchise was inspired by her children, who grew up watching the films and reading the books. The themed rooms now feature wands, broomsticks, and various memorabilia.
