German Retail Chains Launch Free Family Festivals in Bad Kreuznach and Stuttgart

Globus Baumarkt Bad Kreuznach hosted a two‑day free family festival over the weekend, converting its parking area into a large entertainment zone. Activities included a bouncy castle, a miniature railway, archery, a water pool with walk‑through ball pits, food stalls serving crepes and drinks, and various games with prizes. The event was open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with free entry and ample parking.

EDEKA Südwest organised its annual Familientage at regional venues, featuring a family day at Zoo Karlsruhe (1–2 August 2026) and another at Wilhelma Stuttgart (29–30 August 2026). The programmes offer children and adults games, animal exhibits, plant displays, and specialised food stalls, aiming to provide a memorable day of leisure and discovery for families.

Both retailers partnered with local authorities and cultural sites to promote community engagement and encourage family-friendly outings.
