German retailers hand out cheap fans amid heatwave

Participants had to be at least 18 and could not be Radio Arabella staff or related companies.

Meanwhile, German electronics retailer MediaMarkt launched a separate heat‑wave promotion lasting until 3 August 2026. Customers using the myMediaMarkt app could claim a mini hand‑fan, an ice lolly or a drink for €1 at any German store, provided they showed a digital coupon at checkout. The offer was limited to in‑store purchases and subject to stock availability.
